Precious 3-2 win to move back to 5th!

P&R Ladies 1's fought back from being 2-1 down to win 2-3 away against strugglers Witney on Saturday. The win keeps them nicely in 5th and overtaking Banbury again as the

A difficult first half saw a very youthful Ladies 1's team struggle to get a foothold in the game and Witney battled hard to try to win some much needed points for themselves. The oranges started to find their mojo towards the end of the half and Phoebe Gannon got the first goal to keep the team in contention.

After a half time talking to the team got fired up and played a much better second half - Beth James, stepping up from the 2's, had a great game in attack scoring on her 1's debut to equalise and then turning provider for the winner with Becs Clayton getting the decisive 3rd goal.

With 5 players under 19 in the team this week, its fair to say the future looks bright - the future looks orange!

Next week the team is home to Banbury and looking for revenge after a narrow 1-0 defeat away 2 weeks ago.
