Get your thinking caps on......

As we head into the final quarter of the season, it's time to start thinking about the end of season awards and who you might be voting for!

At the junior end of season party (3rd April), and the senior section Dinner Dance (30th April), we like to award our players with some silverware to acknowledge effort and performance during the year as voted by their team mates.

We'll ask you to submit your votes very soon, but for now have a think about who you might vote for in your team.

Your nomination should consider someone who has demonstrated things like:
- Being a consistent player week in week out
- Team work and team spirit
- Commitment
- Gives 110% on the pitch
- Attendance at training
- Availability for the games
- Positive attitude / inspiring others
- Coachability and good listening

The coaches and captains will also decide on a Most Improved Player.

In the junior section, there will be awards from the age group coaches.

The Woodie Award
As well as these player awards, we also have the Woodie Award for Club Person of the Year. Nominations for this award can come from anyone involved in the club - player, umpire, parent, coach, volunteer or committee member.

If you think someone deserves recognition for their efforts in the club please send your nomination to Jax (battiejax@hotmail.co.uk).

We'll let you know who is collecting votes soon, but until then good luck to everyone in this final part of the season!
