U10s TVM tournament

We took two teams to Wycombe's TVM tournament today both of which played very well indeed.

We have come a long way since the start of the season and our results showed that development today. Both teams lost only 1 of their 5 matches, and scored many goals and it was great to see that those goals were scored by a lot of different players - Amelie, Bethany, Reece, Grace, Charlotte and Lois. Their chances were created by some lovely passes to use the width by Roanna, Callum and Chloe in particular. Defenders Kimberly, Henry, Alicia and Lois were strong, doing exactly as they were asked and clearing the ball to the sides.

Dom made his goalkeeping debut and showed some natural ability, not just saving many shots, but kicking strongly away.

There really was some lovely hockey played today. We used width, we got ahead, we played down the channels and we took the ball to space - all of which we have worked on in training. Great stuff - it was a pleasure to watch.
