Ladies 2's clinch promotion!!!

We are promoted!!!!

The Ladies 2's overcame a 2-0 half time deficit to clinch a 3-2 over division winners Amersham and Chalfont in a hugely tense game and the Uni Sportpark!

With A&C already assured of promotion, the Oranges knew that a win was the only result that would guarantee them 2nd place and a promotion spot back to Div 2. In a massively enjoyable game, the 2's were on top for the first 15 minutes but against the run of play conceded a goal from a well worked short corner.

A second goal gave the visitors a cushion in the first half, and despite pressure from the Oranges the team just couldn't get the goal they deserved!

The 2nd half was a different story however, and goals from Liz, Jess and Mollie Edgar saw the team comeback to win 3-2 and have their champagne moment!!!
