Back by popular demand, Phoenix and Ranelagh Hockey Club are running a young players summer camp on 20th and 21st August 2018 at Reading University SportsPark. The event will be 2 full days of top quality performance coaching, with lots of fun on the side, for all junior players aged 6 to 16. There will be a specialist goalkeeper coach as well.

If you are new to hockey we will have plenty of help for you to learn how to play, and if you are already involved in the game, this is a great chance to practice what you already know and to learn some new skills too!

And now the notes for parents………the Club can provide some basic equipment for youngsters new to the game, but ideally youngsters should come wearing comfortable sports clothes, with a hockey stick, shin pads and a gumshield, and with a pack lunch, a drink, some suncream and a change of clothes/rain jacket (to cope with our lovely English weather). All our coaches are fully qualified and undergo DBS checks. The Club adheres to England Hockey’s Safe D policy details for working with young people.
