Let's raise awareness

She is a hugely important part of our Club and someone who helps us a very difficult topic, and Laura Hodder is someone everyone in the Club should be aware of.

As our Club Welfare Officer, Laura is responsible for making sure all our volunteers, coaches, parent helpers and captains have an understanding of their Safeguarding responsibilities, know about good & bad practices when dealing with young people, and makes sure all our DBS checks are completed with England Hockey.

Laura is also a Ladies 2's player and has been part of the club since she was a junior herself. She reports to the Junior Committee, but also has a space on the Club Exec Committee to make sure we all stay focussed on this important topic.

If you have any questions or concerns about Safeguarding or the welfare of any young person in our club you should contact Laura in the first instance. She can take you through the England Hockey procedures and guidelines (which are also on this website) and talk to you confidentially about any concerns or queries you might have.

You can use the Contacts page to speak to Laura via email or phone.
