It is now time to conclude season 2016/17 with the Club AGM. The meeting will be held on Thursday 15th June 2017 at Reading University for a prompt 7.00pm start and your attendance is crucial.

We must have 25% of our membership (over age 16) in attendance for the meeting to run and last season we required a Special General Meeting to make that happen. Please do attend otherwise the Club cannot function.

As a Club member you are entitled to make appropriate recommendations to fulfil any of the committee positions. Only vacant positions can have nominations put forward on the night of the AGM. Please make sure the person nominated is aware of their nomination and willing to fill the role!

Along with your nominations, if there is anything else that you wish to be included in Any Other Business, please provide written details 7 days before the AGM (by 7th June 2017) to Jackie Batten (battiejax@hotmail.co.uk) and it will be included.

I am sadly having to step down from my role as Chairman at the AGM due to a work move which will see me leave the area, and Flying (Vicki Lincoln) will Chair the AGM in my absence.

I would like to say a massive thank you to all of the committee members & volunteers for your valued input into last season, as everybody worked exceptionally hard, and also a big thank you to all of the players – it was a fun season with some real success to celebrate which will hopefully continue into 2017/18.

On a personal note, thank you to everyone that has supported me as your Chairman and I look forward to seeing how the Club continues to progress next year.
