How to join

Welcome to Phoenix & Ranelagh Hockey Club for Season 2017/18.

As in previous seasons, the Club will operate with an annual subscription, and weekly match fees for those players selected to play in matches. There are various fee structures in place for adults, full time students over 16, and occasional or non-playing members.

JUNIORS: There is a separate membership form for Junior players under the age of 16. You should go to the Junior Membership page if you are under 16.

We are currently upgrading our membership process to move online however for the start of this season you will need to complete a Club Member Registration Form and pay your fee to become a member.

New this season is a Goalkeeper with own Kit membership package which is £60 per season, but all the other fees remain the same as last season:

Adult member: £120
Adult GK member with own kit: £60
Student (16 or over): £25
Occasional: £10
Social member: £10

Phoenix & Ranelagh operate a late fee for continuing adult and student members should the membership fee not be paid on time. New members during the season are not charged a late fee.

The deadline for the standard fee for returning adult members is 30th September 2017 after which an additional £50 late fee will be due.
New members to the club will pay the standard fee of £120.00 if they join at the start or a pro-rated amount if they join part-way through.

An adult goalkeeper member that brings their own, full kit to the Club will be entitled to a reduced membership fee of £60.00.

The deadline for discounted student payment is 31st October 2017 after which an additional £10 late fee will be due.

An occasional player that switches to full membership during the season will pay a pro-rated amount of the late membership fee (less the £10 occasional fee already paid). The final decision on the amount to be paid will be agreed by the Treasurer.

Membership fees can be paid in 2 instalments if required. Please contact Carol Scearce to arrange for this.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: New members must pay £10 insurance before training or playing. The membership fee must then be paid by the 3rd match for the club.
